Vivien Keszthely made history at Norisring!

Vivien Keszthelyi made history at the legendary Norisring afther she earned her first points in the Audi TT Cup 2017 season. The youngest member of the series finished on the 8th place after she started from the 16th.

The 16-year-old Hungarian driver’s season has been hindered by accidents continuously so far, so she had to face enormous pressure. After the free practice on Friday, she finished on the 16th place in Saturday’s qualifying. In the first race, the unlucky series of Vivien has been continued, after one of the guest drivers hit her car in the back with full speed.
 
The number 7, green-colored car has been prepared for the second race on Sunday, but after the start it was hit by two opponents in the first corner. Vivien Keszthelyi, however, was able to stay extremely relaxed and, in addition, with her damaged car, she did four to five tenths better laps than her best lap time in qualifying.
 
Vivien Keszthelyi managed to get her car from the 16th place to 8th position, gaining her first points – 11 in the Audi TT Cup 2017 season. The young Hungarian driver, therefore, have a memorable stay in her first Norisring weekend since she succeeded in reminding Csaba Kesjár, who died in an accident on this circuit 29 years ago.
 
The next weekend of the Audi TT Cup will be held 18-20th August at Zandvoort, Netherlands.
